The valuation of hotel assets in the Eternal City amounts to 12.8 billion euros. This is according to an analysis conducted by the Research Department of Wcg - World Capital Group, an Italian consulting and brokerage firm that specializes exclusively in commercial real estate.

The value of hotel properties in the capital accounts for 10% of the total value of Italian real estate, which currently stands at 116.3 billion euros.

In fact, among the 29,000 hotels - 3, 4, and 5 stars - that are currently in the country according to the Wcg study, only 4.3% of them are located in Rome. The situation is similar with the number of rooms and beds: in both cases, the capital holds just under 6% of the total national figure.

Another indicator analyzed by the Wcg study regarding Rome is the cost of hotel rooms, which places the capital in second place in Italy, slightly behind the leader, Milan. According to the analysis, the price of five-star hotels in the Eternal City ranges from a minimum of 310,000 euros to a maximum of 1.3 million euros (for Milan, the range is from 336,000 to 1.33 million).

As for four-star hotels, their prices range from 110,000 to 374,000 euros in Rome (in Milan, from 121,000 to 407,000 euros).
