Troon adds rising star Bendetta Moresco to the team

Scottsdale, Arizona (October 24, 2023) - Troon®, a leader in golf and related leisure and hospitality services, is pleased to welcome Italian golfer Benedetta Moresco to Team Troon, a collection of top international golfers representing the Troon brand in professional golf.

Originally from Vicenza, Italy, Moresco turned professional after the European Women's Golf Championship in July 2023. Earlier this month, she was the top amateur at the U.S. Women's Open Championship at the Pebble Beach Course, where she tied for 37th place. Moresco is currently in the qualifying process for the LPGA and Ladies European Tour, having recently finished 12th at the first round of the LPGA Qualifier in Palm Springs, California, and 25th at the second round in Venice, Florida. She now moves on to the third round of the LPGA Q Series at the Magnolia Grove Golf Club course in Mobile, Alabama, Nov. 30-Dec. 5.

Joining Moreco on the Troon team will be LPGA Tour golfer Yealimi Noh, PGA TOUR golfers Justin Thomas, Gary Woodland, Matt Kuchar, Matthew Fitzpatrick and Alex Noren, LIV golfer Bubba Watson, PGA TOUR Champions golfer and World Golf Hall of Fame member Collin Montgomerie and LPGA Tour/Ladies European Tour golfer Cheyenne Woods. The Troon logo will be featured on each golfer's bags, with Woods and Fitzpatrick wearing fully branded Troon bags with embroidered pockets.

While competing in the U.S. Championships, Moresco was accompanied on the course by Chris Rose of Pebble Beach. The two worked so well together that Rose would become her professional caddie in the future.
