The highest March sales ever.
In March 2023, the second highest number of real estate sales for that month since statistics began in 2000. This is according to official figures from the Department of Lands and Surveys.
The total number of property sales (measured by the number of contracts filed at Land Registry Offices) in March 2023 was 1,352 - a 23% increase on March 2022. This is the second highest March figure since statistics began; in March 2007 alone, at the peak of the boom, there were 1,903 sales contracts.
Comparing the total number of real estate sales transactions - 2022/2023.
Sales in the first quarter of 2023 reached 3,574; an increase of 19% compared to the first quarter of 2022. With the exception of Nicosia, sales rose in all areas.
