Jose Maria Casanova has been appointed development director at Tétris Italia - MonitorImmobiliare Report.

Tétris, an Italian JLL company specializing in the design and construction of coworking and commercial spaces, has appointed José Maria Casanova as its new executive director.

Kasanova joined Tétris in 2016, after having been with JLL since 2011, and was appointed Tétris branch director for Morocco. He has played an important strategic role in developing and expanding the design and construction services offering in the North Africa region.

In 2023, Casanova became Head of Service Delivery for Tétris in Italy, where he will coordinate construction management to improve corporate strategies and ensure high project standards.

Prior to joining JLL, Jose Maria worked for various multinational companies in Europe and North Africa, where he managed projects in the hospitality, leisure and office sectors.

Casanova succeeds Philippe Surda, who has been an executive director at Tétris Italy for more than 13 years. Tétris currently operates projects in Italy through offices in Milan and Rome in office real estate, hospitality, retail and logistics.

In his new role, José María will continue to develop the business, focusing on implementing strategies to improve the company's results and further strengthen Tétris' position as a leading design and construction company in the local market, with an emphasis on innovation, sustainability and customer focus.
