The number of farms transferred in August reached 14,926 (+7.8 % ), apartment sales transactions 2,481 (-0.9 % ).

The number of property plots transferred in the Autonomous Community of Castile and Leon in August was 14,926, 7.8% more than in 2022. At the same time, the number of transfers of residential properties decreased by 0.9% to 2,481, according to transfer statistics published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) based on data provided by the College of Registrars of Real Estate, Commercial and Movable Property of Spain.
The data show that Castile and Leon, as well as Castile-La Mancha, have the smallest decrease in the number of residential sales transactions, which increased in only two regions and decreased in the rest, as did the average, which decreased by 14.4%.

Castile and Leon, with a result of 7.8%, has the best annual trend in the total number of property plots transferred, which decreased by 7.3% in Spain. In this case, Castile and Leon (7.8%), Castile-La Mancha (3.8%) and Asturias (2.8%) showed the highest annual rates of change, while the Balearic Islands (-28.2%), Madrid Region (-14.1%) and Andalucía (-13.8%) have the lowest rates.
According to INE statistics, last August Castile and León had an average monthly transfer of 777 property plots per 100,000 inhabitants, making it the region with the highest ranking for this indicator and seventh in the ranking for the percentage of residential sales transactions per 100,000 inhabitants, with a result of 129.
Of the total number of property plots transferred in Castilla y León in August (14,926), 6,788 were agricultural plots and the rest were urban in nature (4,281 dwellings, 523 plots of land and 3,334 other urban plots).
In terms of provinces, most of the plots transferred were in Burgos (2,752) and Leon (2,718), followed by Valladolid (2,052), Salamanca (1,759), Segovia (1,405), Zamora (1,203), Ávila (1,178), Palencia (1,030) and Soria (829).
In the case of residential properties, the leader is Valladolid with 819 transactions, followed by Burgos (772), Leon (658), Salamanca (508), Segovia (354), Avila (348), Palencia (301), Soria (264) and Zamora (257).
