Michelle arrives in Saudi Arabia and signs a contract with Al Qadsiya.

Michelle begins her first adventure in Arab soccer. After turning down offers from Mexico, Turkey, Russia and Spain, the Madrid coach has agreed to the project offered by Al-Qadsiya from the second division of Saudi soccer, owned by Aramco, the largest oil company in the country and one of the most powerful companies that is one of the main sponsors of Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso in Formula 1.
Al Qadsiya is second in the league (the top three ascend), just behind Al Orobah. Robbie Fowler is no longer the coach of the team, despite a contract until June 2024, and the Arab team, led also by the Spaniard Carlos Anton, sporting director, is betting on the Madrid head coach, who was without a team after his second adventure at Olympiacos, which ended last April.
The team's owners are the same as one of the most important companies in the Middle East. Al-Qadsiya is one of the five privatized clubs in the country and Aramco, the owner, is investing very seriously in soccer. Joel Robles, Alvaro Gonzalez, Englishman Max Power, Peruvian Andre Carrillo, Argentine Luciano Vietto and Senegalese Mbaye Dianye all play in the squad.
The owners of the Arab club have been looking for a change and with the Spaniard they are hoping for an offensive style of soccer that matches the quality of players they have and who can join. Michelle arrives with her usual work group, which includes Carlos Mandia, Adrian Gonzalez and Kike Sanz. Michel, a close friend of Gerard Michel will share the city with Steven Gerrard, coach of another major team in the city, Al-Ittifaq.
Al Qadsiya is located in Damman, in the east of the country.
