Vazisubani Estate - Gurjaani Municipality - MICHELIN Guide Hotel.
Georgia is home to, among other things, the oldest evidence of wine production in the entire world. And amid 8,000 years of wine culture, the Vazisubani Estate, founded in 1891, is a newcomer.
The 19th-century splendor of this wonderfully restored house nevertheless lends enormous character to its 19 rooms and suites, which have been remodeled by a team of Georgian and British architects and designers and furnished with a unique collection of antique Victorian furniture made in England. This creates an atmosphere quite unlike any other.
The house is surrounded by extensive parkland, perfect for a picnic at lunchtime or a stroll in the afternoon.
