For sale: a house (and wife) in Indonesia.

Frustrated by the stagnant real estate market and her personal life, an Indonesian widow has come up with a new way to sell her property - don't lower the price and she'll throw herself into the bargain.

The sales material for the two-bedroom, 999 million rupiah ($76,846) home near the Javanese town of Yogyakarta speaks of a large yard, a pond and a chance to win the hand of 40-year-old owner Vina Lia.

"My priority is to sell my house, but if a buyer wants to marry me and meet my criteria, I can't resist," the beauty salon entrepreneur said.

Leah, who was widowed in 2001, broke up with her boyfriend twice and is raising her two children on her own, said her recently deceased mother convinced her to build a house to be closer to family. "But the installments were very big. I owe the bank. I feel bad and I can't handle the burden alone," she said.

She said the idea came from her real estate agent, whom she told that she was not only interested in selling her house, but also in finding a husband. "Buy the house and marry the owner at the same time," the agent suggested. "I said 'yes.'"

The house went on the market this month, the agent's strategy indicates: "Bid of the century!

"Single and responsible are my main criteria," Liya said. The Jakarta Post reported Tuesday that an integral condition is that the buyer must be a committed Muslim who can be an imam for Liya's family and teach her how to wear the hijab.

Nevertheless, Leah is still waiting. She told AA on Wednesday that despite more than 150 interested calls, she's still not finding a sale or a husband. "I'm more busy with my workload - picking up the phone and interviewing reporters," she said.
